South west of Panglao Island, Balicasag Island has Black Forest which is known forblack coral bushes, Balicasag Marine Sanctuary and Divers Heaven where turtles, sharks and fusiliers can be seen. Aside from Balicasag and Panglao Island, there is also Cabilao Island that lies in the Cebu Strait. In this island, you can see hammerheads and white-tipped reefsharks, barracudas, jackfish, ghostpipe fish, dragon fishes, crabs, fusiliers, parrot fishes, damsel fishes, soft corals, and sponges in Lighthouse, Cambaquiz Point and South Point. Furthermore, the Pamilacan Island located in southeast of Panglao Island is famous for whaleshark and dolphin watching activities. You can also see black-white banded sea snakes, moray eels, nudibranchs and bukcet sponges in this island.
